Import Duties and Taxes

For customers outside of the UK and EU, please be aware that import duties and taxes may be charged by your country's customs department. The amount of these charges can vary and are determined by the customs department of the destination country.

Value-Added Tax (VAT)

For orders shipped to the UK, we charge VAT at the point of sale. For orders shipped within the EU, the listed price remains the same; however, it does not include VAT, as we handle VAT payment via a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) method with our shipping carrier. This process ensures that you will not receive any additional import charges upon delivery.

What to do if you have received a customs payment request

If you are based in the UK or EU and receive a customs or import duty payment notification, please get in touch with our customer service team who will investigate and where eligible can help to claim these costs back and credit your account. Please note, this only applies to standard consumer purchases. Business customers have a slightly different process.

Business customers

Business customers should provide their EORI and VAT number to help speed up customs clearance, as B2B imports are treated differently than B2C imports. We encourage business customers to check their local tax laws as some can claim back VAT on their tax returns, meaning we don't reimburse import fees or VAT for business customers as this can usually be reclaimed.

Please understand that customs, duties, and tax laws can be complex and vary by country. If you have further questions, our customer service team is here to help.
